Description
The Louvolite charging cable should be only used with our Louvolite motors (Generation 1 & Generation 2). See the image if you are not sure which motor’s generation you have at home.
The charger has the standard UK, 3 pin plug, and a long 4-metre cable.
Once your motorised blind starts to run out of charge it will beep at you when operating. To charge your electric blind simply plug the charger into the motor’s socket. Then, after around 6 hours, your blind should be fully charged. The charger has a built-in LED to tell you the status of the charge. Green = Fully charged.
We do not recommend leaving the charger plugged into your blind overnight, as it could create a ‘reverse’ charge. Then, the battery would be actually drained instead of increased.
You will receive one of these chargers in the kit if you select the option ‘Motorised (Starter Kit)’ when buying a Motorised Roller or Vision Blind.
See our Quick Guide to Motorised Blinds for more information.
